How to Unlock Battlefield 3 Back to Karkand Weapons

In Back to Karkand DLC there are 10 new weapons that can be unlocked. Unlike other weapons, where you had to rank up the class or your rank to unlock, BTK weapons are unlocked by finishing assignments. Below I have listed everything you need to know about unlocking any of the BTK weapons and tips to help your quest to unlocking them.

Class: Assault
Requirements: None
Assignment Name: Best Friends Forever
Objectives:

• Revive 10 teammates
• Heal 10 teammates

Tip:
Staying with your squad and doing your medic duties will help you finish this assignment faster.

Weapon: L85A2
Class: Assault
Requirements: You will need to complete assignment “Best Friends Forever” to unlock this assignment.
Assignment Name: Professional Russian
Objectives:

• Get 100 kills with Assault Rifles
• Get 20 kills with Underslung Grenade Launcher
• Win 5 rounds of Squad Team Deathmatch

Tips:

• You will eventually get 100 kills with Assault Rifles if you just keep on playing as a Assault. Playing Team Deathmatch will help you finish this objective faster.
• I find it easy to get Grenade Launcher kills on Rush by spamming it on the a M-COM station after it has been armed. Team Deathmatch is also good gametype to get Grenade Launcher kills due to maps being smaller. Try to get a friend to play as a support so you get ammo for your launcher when you run out.
• Wining five rounds of Squad Team Deathmatchs is easy if you can get three people that will communicate and work with you and each other. I would recommend you play Squad Team Deathmatch with your friends because winning a Squad Team Deathmatch with randoms is very rare.

Battlefield 3 Ribbon Guide

Ribbons are awards that are given for accomplishing a task in a game, such as completing individual rounds, reaching a certain amount of objectives, or obtaining a specific amount of points in a round. In Battlefield 3 ribbons can be categorized into six categories; Kits, Weapons, Vehicles, MVP, and Other. This guide will show you how to achieve all the ribbons the easiest way possible.

Kits

Medical Efficiency Ribbon
In a round, do 5 revives
To revive a person in Battlefield 3 you will need the defibrillator, which is unlocked at 4,000 Assault score (First unlock for the Assault Class). Once you have unlock the defibrillator, play as a Assault, stay with your teammates and revive any fallen teammates.

Maintenance Efficiency Ribbon
In a round, do 7 repairs
In Battlefield 3 there only two gadgets that will repair vehicles; Repair Tool and EOD Bot. Engineers get the Repair Tool from the beginning, while EOD Bot in unlocked at 25,000 Engineer score. The easiest way to get repairs is to jump in friendly tank and when the tank is damaged get out and repair it. If you are have trouble get seven repairs in one round play Conquest, where the rounds are longer and have more vehicles.

Resupply Efficiency Ribbon
In a round, do 7 resupplies
Play as the Support Class and throw down Ammo Boxes, you start out with it, to teammates who have fired their weapon. Keep on doing this and you will achieve this ribbon in no time.

Surveillance Efficiency Ribbon
In a round, get 5 motion Sensor Assists
In Battlefield 3 you can only get motion Sensor Assists by using the MAV, which is unlocked at 45,000 Recon score. Once you have unlocked the MAV; Play as a Recon, deploy the MAV, and spot every enemy you see. Every time a teammate kills a person who you have spotted using the MAV will get you a Sensor Assists.

Get at least seven kills with the following weapons in one round.

Light Machine Gun Ribbon
In a round, kill 7 enemies with Light Machine Guns
Get at least seven kills with the following weapons in one round.

The first thing you want to do after you make a character is to complete all the challenges because in this game the AI on the enemy team will become more difficult to beat as you level up. If you already have character that is high level just make a new one. There four different type of challenges and each has three levels (Stars) which are all easy to beat with a new character. *You have to do all the challenge on solo!
